ADRF (Advanced RF Technologies, Inc.) is the leading provider of in-building wireless solutions that ensure seamless connectivity in commercial and public structures. We are looking for a passionate Software Engineer to join our team in Burbank and help ensure the quality of our next-generation DAS and Repeater systems. The ideal candidate will be fluent in both Korean and English and proficient in software verification and Python automation.
Key Responsibilities:
Test Automation Development: Develop and maintain Python-based automation scripts for the verification of wireless communication systems (DAS/Repeater).
Instrument Control: Develop remote control software for RF test instruments (Spectrum Analyzers, Signal Generators) using SCPI commands and VISA (PyVISA).
System Testing & Reporting: Execute system integration tests and document bugs/issues using Jira and Confluence.
Data Analysis: Analyze logs from embedded Linux devices and visualize performance data to identify trends and anomalies.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with Hardware and Firmware teams to debug communication protocols and RF performance issues.
Qualifications (Mandatory):
Education: Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Programming Skills: Strong fundamental skills in Python programming.
Network Knowledge: Understanding of basic communication protocols such as TCP/IP and Serial (UART).
Passion for Tech: A strong desire to learn new technologies, specifically in 5G and RF Hardware.
Soft Skills: Logical problem-solving abilities and excellent verbal/written communication skills.
Language: Korean, English
Qualifications (Preferred):
Hardware Control: Experience with hardware control projects using libraries such as PyVISA, PySerial, or Socket.
RF Knowledge: Hands-on experience with RF test equipment or coursework in wireless communication theory (LTE/5G).
Linux Proficiency: Development experience in a Linux environment (Ubuntu/CentOS).
Version Control: Proficiency with Git or similar version control tools.
